Ferrari x MDS Vision

For this project, Montano Design Studio set out to capture the sensation of a Ferrari moment that blends precision, heritage, and adrenaline that exists before the engine ever starts. The goal wasn’t simply to design a stage, but to build an atmosphere. An environment that could hold the weight of anticipation, elevate the performance, and translate Ferrari’s emotional language into physical space. To guide this, we looked to the Teshima Art Museum in Japan, a space defined not by objects, but by feeling. Its open-ceiling apertures, its soft concrete curvature, and its almost spiritual relationship with light became the emotional framework for the design. We weren’t replicating its form; we were capturing its essence.

Stillness, purity, and a profound awareness of the moment.

MDS reinterpreted these qualities into a contemporary event pavilion for Ferrari.

The exterior expresses restraint, a sculpted shell with subtle texture that echoes Teshima’s quiet monumentality. As guests move inward, the space gently transitions from calm to intensity. Light is directed, controlled, and intentional, creating a sense of theatre as it reveals the stage. Layered curved walls guide the flow, shaping sightlines and amplifying the reveal with a sense of inevitability. Inside, the space opens into a glowing chamber: clean, powerful, and deliberately minimal. The environment is designed to let the brand breathe, giving Ferrari’s identity room to resonate. It becomes a place where performance and serenity coexist; where the calm confidence of architectural simplicity elevates the raw power of the brand.

This project reflects the core of how Montano Design Studio approaches event design: Start with the emotion, translate it into spatial structure, and create an experience that feels inevitable, memorable, and deeply connected to the brand’s essence.
